PATIENTS ARE SEEN IN 2-3 WEEKS
Out-of-pocket fees apply for cosmetic procedures.
LABIAPLASTY (Costs from $4500.00)
- pre op consultation to discuss procedure
- examination with video monitor to fully understand outcome
- performed under general anaesthesia, day surgery
- will involve hospital and anaesthetist fees
- detailed post op instruction brochure will be provided
- strong post op analgesia and ice packs advised x 2 days
- antibiotics prescribed
- home with bladder catheter for 3-4 days
- off work 1-2 weeks
- no sexual or sporting activity x 6 weeks
- no Medicare item unless labia protrudes 8cm
- may require associated vaginoplasty if had previous vaginal births
VAGINOPLASTY (from $4500.00)
- surgical correction of the vaginal opening “gape”
- stretched skin and muscles excised and perineum rebuilt
- gynaecologist will correct associated bladder + rectal prolapses
- Medicare and private fund rebates may apply for prolapse repair
- home with catheter 4-5 days
- strong analgesia and ice packs advised 4-5 days
- antibiotics prescribed
- 2 weeks off work
- no sporting or sexual activities x 6 weeks
VAGINAL TIGHTENING
- patient counselled on which vaginal component requires tightening
- the vagina is divided into 3 components, upper, middle and lower
- each component will have its own symptoms of looseness
→ a brochure is available on request
LASER VAGINAL REJUVENATION
- 3 sessions of Femilift CO2 laser ($500.00 per session)
- tightens and lubricates vaginal walls
- used instead of HRT post chemotherapy for vaginal lubrication
- reduces bladder leak → improvement after 2nd session
- pelvic floor muscles tightening → pelvic floor exercises +/- surgery
HYMENOPLASTY (from $4500.00)
- restitches tears in the hymen → restores “virginity”
- performed under local or general anaesthesia
- antibiotics prescribed
- off work 2-3 days
- no sporting activities x 6 weeks
