Cosmetic Gynaecology - Fees and Services
Services
Our cosmetic services are provided by specialist gynaecologists, trained in all aspects of obstetrical & gynaecological surgery, with knowledge of the female anatomy and physiology, from conception to puberty, through childbirth and menopause.
This knowledge and experience provides a holistic approach to addressing your presenting complaint. Behind a change in appearance, there can often be an underlying gynaecological condition.
Attendance by a gynaecologist also provides you with an opportunity to make sure your pap smear is up to date and that your vaginal swabs, ovarian and uterine cancer checks are also current.
Non-gynaecological providers may not be able to offer these gynaecological screening procedures.
Fees
Your initial cosmetic consultation will be free of charge.
If you have an underlying gynaecological condition, you may qualify for part of your surgical procedure to be charged to Medicare, reducing your out-of-pocket costs. Non-gynaecological providers may not be able to offer you this option. You will need a referral from a GP in order to access these rebates.
Your fees and out-of-pocket costs (if any) will be confirmed at your initial gynaecological consultation.
